Purpose
The Umpqua Valley Havurah is a non-profit organization that seeks to support and educate the Jewish community and friends in Douglas County, Oregon. We welcome all people to celebrate and explore the various aspects of Judaism, including religious, cultural and social. This is what embodies the meaning of Havurah: Fellowship!
Activities
The Havurah gathers for religious, social and educational events throughout the year. Guest rabbis, cantors, speakers, and lay leaders conduct events.
